RCD introduced the first spindle lift kit on the market for the 88-98 6-lug Chevy/GMC! What this means is that you do not have to modify the frame of the vehicle to lower down the upper control arms, they stay in the stock location. CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles, T-6 billet aluminum axle spacers, 2-piece lower sub-frame assembly & polished stainless steel, CNC machined zinc plated billet steel sway bar links with oversized urethane bushings and Bilstein 5100 Series shock absorbers. No driveshaft modifications necessary. Allows 35x12.50 with minor trimming. Highly recommend 8" wide wheels. System will not work on 88-95 models equipped with spindle mounted front ABS sensor. RCD replacement spindles are developed off of 1995 & later hub mounted ABS system. |

Superlift's 4" & 6" lift kits are still known as the GM systems to have. Lowering the factory upper and lower control arms in relation to the frame brings ride height up. By keeping the factory control arms and torsion bars, you retain stock alignment geometry and ride quality. Front track width not increased. Full-width differential control arm crossmembers provide lateral rigidity. Crossmember kicker braces add strength. No trimming of front differential housing. Dropped centerlink restores proper steering linkage geometry. Centerlink stabilizing links make steering more responsive and extends life of pitman / idler arm. Steel skid plate protects front differential. Includes either longer front rubber brake hoses or relocation brackets depending on kit boxChoose between Superlit or Bilstein shocks. Skyjacker's 2.5" lift kits retain factory torsion bars and include longer control arms, differential drop brackets & rear add-a-leafs. This increases front wheel travel to allow for tires. New differential brackets and A-arm drop brackets relieve wear and tear on the upper ball joints.
