The Zone Offroad 6" suspension system for the 99-06 Chevy and GM trucks is designed for a everyday driver, but is made to handle offroad use. The main crossmembers were designed to match the factory geometry and appearance. Combined with the CNC machined steering knuckles everything is relocated to factory specs creating a true factory quality driving experience. This is a go anywhere system as it comes with compression struts for added frame support. Notes: Requires frame bracket and differential mount modification. 99-06 4WD Chevy/GMC K 1500 6" Fabtech lift kit is accomplished via one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles attaching to heavy-duty 1/4" thick, high arched lower control arm crossmembers. The front differential is relocated with a cradle style bracket. No drive shaft change required for Autotrac. Solid steel billet sway bar end links with urethane bushings retain the factory front sway bar angle. The stock upper control arms and steering centerlink are retained in the factory position and do not have to be removed for installation. The front suspension is completed with crossmember impact struts and torsion bar drop down brackets. Note: Early 2000 models may require 1999 box kit. If factory transmission crossmember is straight, use 00-05 application. If factory transmission crossmember is curved in an "S" shape, use 1999 application. |

1999-06 4WD Chevy/GMC K1500 4" & 6" Tuff Country EZ-Ride lift kit options include Standard lift kit with one-piece sub frame and Strong lift kit with 3-piece sub frame. Standard lift kits use the combination of new extended spindles and a one-piece sub-frame to reduce the amount parts required by half. A one-piece sub-frame will also help to eliminate annoying squeaks and rattles. Simple bolt-on installation. New spindles eliminate need to drop upper control arms. One piece sub-frame gives increased strength and helps to eliminate squeaks and rattles. Includes lateral compression arms The "Strong" lift kits use new extended steering knuckles and a three-piece sub frame that includes two cross members that are connected by a heavy duty skid plate. This skid plate is designed to protect the front differential and stabilize the cross members for unmatched strength and durability. This design also allows for an easier and quicker installation. Cast iron blocks lift the rear. Differential drop brackets and torsion bar drop brackets keep everything in alignment. Also included are lateral compression arms which, along with the 3-piece sub frame, strengthen and stabilize the front end. |
