Fabtech used their proven knuckle and crossmember technology for a solid foundation for the Hummer H2 system but have gone to the next level with a multitude of suspension features & options. Newly designed lower crossmembers provide attachment points for the included 1/4" thick steel differential skid plate or the optional full IFS skid plate. Front differential and control arm geometry has been set to allow maximum articulation and travel. Rear crossmember impact struts provide additional suspension stability. To properly address the Hummer H2's fulltime transfer case Fabtech includes a CV style front driveshaft with this system to provide smooth driveline operation. Ride height has been increased to 6" over stock for clearance of 40/1350R17 or a 355/65R18 tires on a 10" wide wheel with 4-5/8" back spacing. Rear lift is accomplished with either an extended coil spring or air ride spacer system. Extra large diameter replacement Tie Rod assemblies resist bending and breakage when running large tires offroad. Directly replaces OE units and attaches to the stock centerlink, with Fabtech suspension. |

Superlift chose to use their proven bracket style lift method instead of replacement knuckles because using knuckles creates a substantial increase in tire track width. The Superlift system lowers the factory upper and lower control arms in relation to the frame which brings ride height up. By keeping the factory control arms and torsion bars, stock alignment geometry and ride quality is maintained. Superlift's new control arm brackets tie into crossmembers that span the distance between each frame rail to form an exceptionally strong assembly. The front differential assembly is also lowered a full 6" so CV axle angles are kept stock. Steering linkage geometry is addressed by relocating the factory centerlink which keeps the tie rods in phase with the lower control arms. A greaseable stabilizing link regulates centerlink movement and reduces the load and stress transmitted to the pitman and idler arms. Superlift provides 5" of rear lift with either new coils or spacers for H2s with factory air springs. The system also includes all necessary relocation hardware for the rear link-arms and track bar. CV-type front driveshaft is required to accommodate the H2s full-time 4WD and provide smooth, vibration-free operation. Driveshaft is sold separately |
