Daystar Shackles

Use Daystar Lubrathane to eliminate squeak & bind.

Daystar's background is rooted in unique off-road products, and our line of Super Shackles is another example of products designed with the off-roader in mind. Much stronter than stamped factory shackles, they are available in both greasable and non-greasable versions, Daystar Super Shackles can handle anything you care to throw at them. Constructed of heavy-duty plate steel and zinc plated, they include a fully welded center bar that reduces deflection and axle shift while cornering or when the suspension is articulating.

Greasable Super Shackles include replacement bushings, sleeves, and gun-drilled bolts with an easy-to-access grease zerk for servicing. Non-greasable versions retain the factory bushings and do not include hardware. Both versions come in a durable zinc-plated finish. Both shackle versions are sold in pairs.

Daystar's Lubrathane is a specially blended lubricant designed specifically for polyurethane bushings. It is a fully synthetic mix of silicone and Teflon* that is water resistant and does not attract dust. Lubrathane has a high temperature rating and provides a thin film of lubrication that eliminates squeaks and reduces wear.

Lubrathane is available in packages that include a grease gun and in stand-alone 3-ounce canisters.

Rough Country's Lowering Shackles allow the option of fine tuning the rear suspension height of your rig. These shackles are an easy bolt-on installation, adjustable on certain applications. Shackles include polyurethane bushings and steel sleeves. Sold in pairs.
