Fabtech's 4WD SLA (short long arm) systems use knuckle
technology with high arch lower crossmembers to gain the proper altitude.
One of the main design objectives of this system was to achieve a true six
inches over stock ride height. Fabtech felt that adjusting the torsion
bars up was not an option. They placed the bolt hole location a full six
inches lower than stock and designed the rest of the system around this.
This true six inch ride height increase allows the use of 305/70R16 tires,
16x8 wheels with 4-5/8" BS with minor trimming.
Will
not work with factory full time 4WD models or factory 4 wheel air adjust
suspension models. Some models may experience rear driveline vibration.
Order FTS22008 should driveline vibration occur.

Trail Master 4" lift kit for
the Expedition
includes fully integrated crossmembers to connect driver & passenger
side lower control arm bracketry. Drops differential with new bracketry
a full 4" to keep driveline geometry at factory specs. Maintains
factory torsion bar settings and includes torsion bar drop brackets. Rear
coil springs and track bar included. Recommend up to 35" tire &
wheel with 4.5" back spacing.
The 5” Suspension System from Trailmaster
includes CNC machined ductile iron cast steering knuckles, steel
braided Kevlar lined brake lines with protective gray cover and TM logo
tag, Trailmaster’s durable silver vein powder coating, precise laser
cut cross members and brackets for quality and consistent fitment, complete
cross member compression struts for added strength and stability, and independent
front and rear cross members linked together with lateral struts and
differential skid plate. The kit retains factory steering geometry and
is easy to install with our detailed installation instructions. Maximum
tire size: 315/75R16
