87-96 Wrangler YJ

Two types of Superide leaf springs are available for the Wrangler YJ 3.5" lifts. The 4 cylinder, light-duty 6 cylinder springs are designed for excellent ride quality and articulation on lightweight Wranglers with soft tops and no heavy accessories.

The heavier-rated 6 cylinder springs are designed for vehicles equipped with heavy accessories (such as hard tops & a winch) and have proven to stand up to serious off road use. They are also an excellent choice for Wranglers equipped with a V-8 conversion.

Along with your choice of springs the system also includes extended front anti-sway bar links, transfer case kit, brake hose relocating brackets, track bar relocating brackets, poly spring bushings, u-bolts & all necessary hardware.

The Softride springs manufactured by Skyjacker use tapered leaves to yield a lower spring rate and better travel, Teflon wear pads to help reduce interleaf friction, a "bolt" style clip to reduce leaf friction and shot-peening to compress the steel and increase its tensile strength. 2.5" Kits for the YJ Wrangler include front & rear Softride leaf springs with bushings and u-bolts. 4" kits also include front & rear track bar brackets. Transfer case lowering kit sold separately.

If you're a serious off-roader and want to do something about axle-wrap, Skyjacker's 5th Link is the answer. This heavy duty traction bar assembly & cross member will fit on any YJ with standard, spring-over or monolinear springs. Welding is required on the axle.

Rock Ready for the Jeep YJ is a must have item. Named the "Monolinear", this lift sports 6” mono leaf springs at all four corners, greaseable shackles front & rear, drop pitman arm, double disconnect sway bar links, re-designed track bar brackets and 40 durometer rubber bushings. Polyurethane can't touch this. Single Leaf springs equal zero friction. No friction means maximum flex and the Rock Ready^TM Shackles are industrial strength. These suspension lifts allow for maximum articulation & tire clearance for your Wrangler YJ.

The individual leaf plates are tapered, and anti-friction pads positioned at the leaf tips where friction is greatest. Anti-Sway Bar Quick Disconnects

RCD introduces it's 3" lift for the Wrangler YJ. This lift features front & rear tapered leaf springs, brake line brackets, bump stops, trac-bar extensions, transfer case spacers & Bilstein shocks.

Allows use of 31x10.50 tires on 15x7 wheels with 3-3/4" offset from inward side.

YJ with 3" RCD lift

The Rough Country line has been restored to incorporate new "luxury ride" technology. Each double tapered leaf with Teflon pads was specifically engineered for each individual vehicle to provide the best ride possible.

The 4" kit includes front and rear leaf springs, transfer case drop kit, front and rear track bar drop brackets, sway bar links, power steering pitman arm, brake line relocation brackets, bump stops, u-bolts, and 4 Heckethorn Hydro 8000 series shocks.

The 6" suspension lift from Rough Country accommodates up to 35" tires and requires NO welding, cutting, or grinding to install. Includes front and rear double tapered military wrapped leaf springs, front and rear shackles, front and rear track bar drop brackets, front and rear extended, stainless steel brake lines, sway bar quick disconnects, power steering pitman arm, u-bolts, and 4 Heckethorn Hydro 8000 series shocks. Slip-yoke eliminator and cv driveshaft highly recommended.

The Shackle Inversion kit allows for relocating your front spring shackles to the rear mount for a smoother ride. No welding is required. This kit will work for lifted or factory height vehicles, and gives about 1/2" of lift.

Fabtech's 3.5" YJ Performance suspension system includes front and rear military wrap leaf springs, pitman arm, extended sway bar links, track bar relocation brackets, billet transfer case spacers, brake hose bracket, shocks, front & rear u-bolts, bushings and all hardware.

Lift allows the use of a 33/12.50R 15 tire on a 15x8 wheel with 3-1/4" BS with minor trimming.

Power steering only. Vehicles with 13" rear driveshaft may require lengthening.

Jeep YJ 8" Crawler System: As a bolt-on installation, this system replaces the factory front leaf springs with Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover shocks and 2" diameter tubular adjustable radius arms. No cutting of inner fenderwell required keeping mud and water away from the motor. The front system also includes a replacement trac bar, pitman arm, quick disconnect sway bar links, bump stops and more. The rear features a spring over design with leaf springs, extended length boomerang shackles that offer over 14" of wheel travel with superior articulation. A weld on floating traction bar system is included to reduce spring wrap and increase the traction. The rear system is compatible with the stock axle housing and most aftermarket housings that have been set up with the factory YJ leaf spring pad geometry. This Crawler suspension can be ordered as a complete system or as a separate front and rear system. Optional high clearance 1/4" thick steel transfer case skid pan. Use 35/1350R15 tires, 15x8 wheels, 3-3/4" BS w/ minor trimming.

Note: Exhaust modification required. Fixed Yoke kit required. CV style rear driveshaft required.
