Rocky Mountain Suspension Products, Toyota, 4 Runner, T100 suspension lift kits

Like other IFS trucks, the Toyota front suspension utilizes upper and lower control arms supported by torsion bars. What makes its design somewhat unique is that the torsion bars run along the top of the frame rails. On the rear suspension, most models have a solid axle with leaf springs. The 1990-96 4-Runner sports rear coil springs with a four-link arrangement.

For 86-96 models front lift is achieved by lowering the lower control arms via one-piece crossmember assemblies. The axle housing is lowered as well to keep CV axle angles just as they were when stock. The upper control arms must remain in their factory location since they mate to the torsion bars which cannot be relocated. A new precision cast and machined knuckle assembly bridges the increased distance between the upper and lower control arms. Note: The 4" to 5" front lift height range is determined by torsion bar adjustment.

Also included is bracketry to relocate the anti-sway bar and brake hoses as well as high quality hardware. This lift requires the use of negative offset wheels (3-3/4" back spacing or less).

One of the toughest trucks ever made was the 1986-95 IFS Toyota. Skyjacker realized this and developed a super strong system to compliment this tough truck.

Front spindles machined from ductile iron relocate the ball joints and steering linkage. The Kit or System both feature two welded control arm drop bracket assemblies.
