Important Notes

* Fits Old Body style.
* Will NOT work with Air Ride or Electronic Suspension Systems
* Vehicles with 2-piece rear driveshaft may require carrier bearing brackets.
* Recalibration of the speedometer, ABS and stability control systems (if applicable) will be required by an authorized GMC/Chevy Dealer
* Must enlarge lower control arm sway bar end link mounting hole to 3/4”
* Will not work on vehicles equipped with spindle mounted ABS sensor
* Some models may require an exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft

Quick Overview

This innovative 6" lift for the Chevy, GMC 8-Lug Pickup and Suburban by RCD was the first of its kind back in 1988. Installation does not require any modification to the frame to lower down the upper control arms. They stay in the stock location. Auto-trac models will not require a replacement front driveshaft making installation easier. The RCD lift kit includes the following:

CNC machined replacement cast iron steering knuckles
T-6 billet aluminum axle spacers
2-piece lower sub-frame assembly
Lateral compression strut kit
CNC machined zinc plated billet steel sway bar links
Rear Add-a-leafs

Longer shocks are required but are not included in this lift kit.
