Important Notes
EXCEPTION: The upper control arm is not designed to be the droop travel “limiter” in which case it could cause excessive wear and strain on the upper ball joint. Therefore, the correct length shock must be used so that it can act as the droop limiter. Only designated shocks that meet Cognito specifications must be used in conjunction with these upper control arms. Installation of non-designated shocks with these upper control arms will void the Cognito warranty, and may damage the control arms, ball joints, tie-rods, cv axles and other components.

Good ride quality requires ample droop travel and for suspension components to last and work correctly. By correcting the ball joint angle for lifted and leveled applications thereby increasing droop travel, the Cognito upper control arms will improve performance to the Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks and also increase caster slightly for better highway speed drivability.
The Cognito upper control arms are boxed sheet metal and are CNC robot welded and powder coated a semi-gloss black. They include alloy series ball joints and new crush sleeves and polyurethane bushings. The end result of this design is added performance by correcting the ball joint angle after lifting or leveling your GM truck, SUV or Hummer H2.
