If you're looking to upgrade the tire carrier on your Jeep Wrangler JK, Rough Country offers a way to allow larger tires and wheels than the factory tire carrier. The Rough Country kit is made using durable aluminum construction that will replace the weaker factory joints and eliminate rattle and stress at the same time. This tire carrier is heavy duty and features a reinforced hinge replacement system with a spare tire mount that's adjustable. This will allow the mounting of up to a 37" tire with plenty of clearance over either a factory or aftermarket bumper. A third brake light relocation bracket is include allowing you to retain your factory brake light. The hinged spare tire carrier kit bolts on and requires no cutting or drilling.
