Body Lifts for Trucks
While body lift kits for trucks are typically more affordable initially, installation can sometimes offset this savings with the later model vehicles. Older model vehicles usually only required the body mounts to be replaced with a possible steering extension addition. Later models often require installation of additional bracketry as well increasing the cost of the body lift kit and installation charges.
The benefits of installing truck body lifts are the factory ride quality is not affected at all and there is no need to purchase longer shocks. There is a cosmetic difference, however, as the frame is visible. This can be offset with the addition of body lift gap guards that are inserted within the wheel wells.
