Rancho RS5000X Nitro Shock with Red Boot

This special Jeep requires special shocks. Rancho designed these RS5000X shocks with Dynamic Rebound Spring (DRS) technology. What this means is the shock features a unique internal system with a metal spring that’s precisely tuned with fortified interior construction to reduce body roll, prevent the rod from being over-extended inside the shock resulting in additional control. Rancho offers their RS5000X Series Nitro shocks that are engineered to elevate performance and handling of your vehicle - whether street driving or off-roading. Off-road hazards and city street potholes are no match for the these Nitro shocks. Rancho engineers designed the valving to flow the fluid early and reduce harsh initial impacts. The flow of fluid is then controlled in a progressive, gradual manner through the valving.

The RS5000X series shocks feature a 2-1/4-inch diameter shock body and is gas pressurized to 150 psi. To control the rebound motion, each shock has a high-strength, polyurethane rebound bumper. The double welded loops provide additional strength and durability.
