If you are lucky enough to own a 55-75 Jeep, now is the time to bring the suspension back to life with a Skyjacker lift kit! The Softride leaf springs manufactured by Skyjacker use tapered leaves to yield a lower spring rate and better travel. The leaf springs also use Teflon wear pads to help reduce interleaf friction, as well as a "bolt" style clip to reduce leaf friction and shot-peening to compress the steel and increase its tensile strength. All of this results in a nice quality ride for your Jeep, while also making room for a set of 31" tires.
