Foam-cell technology is used in this line of Skyjacker Black MAX B8500 series shocks allowing for 180 degree mounting. For MAX performance when the shock gets heated up, the foam-cell compresses to compensate for oil expansion which will maintain consistent performance throughout the operating temperature range of the shock. The foam-cell also eliminates air inside the Skyjacker Black Max shocks and this is what allows for mounting in any direction.
