The Series Wound motors are extremely efficient and operate at higher speeds than Permanent Magnet motors that are prone to overheating. This recovery system utilizes a 3-stage planetary gear train with a 265:1 gear ratio. That's a lot of torque in a small housing. For convenience, a replaceable Clevis hook and wireless remote are also included. This Rough Country PRO winch is built for reliable recovery that will get you back home safely.
